 Ichiro is currently a full-time instructor of Mind Maps. He started his career at The McDonald's Company (Japan) Ltd. and graduated from the Hamburger University at the top of the class. After having achieved his goals at McDonald's, he moved to a therapist school, where he performed lectures more than 1,000 times. Moreover, his creative sales letters contributed greatly to a significant increase in sales.
Ichiro is one of the most experienced Mind Mappers in Japan. He read "Use Your Head" by Tony Buzan in December 1982, when he was a cram school student. He believes that note taking in the Mind Map format enabled him to pass the entrance exam to a university of very high standard.
Ichiro met Tony Buzan for the first time in 2006 after having used Mind Maps for a quarter century. Encouraged by the potential of the underlying concept, he decided to concentrate all his efforts on spreading Mind Maps in Japan.
He earned a BA in Political Economy from Waseda University.
