We all want our children to thrive at school.  Children learn best and perform most effectively when they are having fun, being creative, thinking clearly, and are feeling relaxed and calm.

This Mind Mapping training workshop is suitable for all KS2+ children and their parents.  Learning together, parents and children will be taught how to Mind Map.  They will do this in a fun, interactive and imaginative way. 

Participants will learn: how the brain works and how to make it work better; how to think creatively and imaginatively; how to use memory to store and recall knowledge; and how to become an effective learner.  Mind Mapping techniques that are learnt at this workshop will support and enhance lifelong learning.

The workshop is a practical way to encourage and develop each child’s naturally enquiring mind.  Parents will develop Mind Mapping skills that will not only support their child’s learning but will also contribute to an increase in their own personal effectiveness.

Most importantly, by sharing the learning environment parents will be able to support and embed Mind Mapping skills at home so that the whole family develops the powerful and creative Mind Mapping habit.

Dress Code
We want you to enjoy the day, so please come along in comfortable clothes.

Tea, coffee and squash will be included in the course fee. 

Tony Buzan’s books
A selection will be available for purchase on the day. 

Materials
Please bring with you a blank A4 or A3 pad, coloured felt tip pens and/or coloured pencils and at least 4 brightly coloured highlighters.
